The Artful Nest was born from a simple observation: art is everywhere in modern life, but deep, meaningful moments with it are becoming rare. We quickly scroll past images, leave music in the background, and consume texts without truly connecting with them. The Nest was created as a quiet pause in this fast-paced world.
We suggest a slower, more mindful relationship with culture—one based on focus, curiosity, and physical touch. Through our physical journals, curated music, and face-to-face gatherings, we create both the tools and the shared spaces for adults and children alike to connect with art deeply.
Here, art is not just information to learn; it is a space to experience. A painting becomes a space for looking. A melody becomes an invitation to truly listen. A text becomes a room for thought.
At our heart lies a simple belief: when we give our full attention to art, we discover something essential about ourselves. Through this deeper inner connection, we learn to see each other with true empathy. In a world filled with noise and distraction, making time for this kind of attention, for ourselves and for the next generation, is something we care about.
Founder & Artistic Architect
Ekin Su Paker
Ekin Su Paker is a Turkish–German soprano and the artistic architect behind The Artful Nest. Her relationship with art is a lifelong resonance, shaped by the disciplined training of classical ballet and piano long before the human voice became her central instrument.
Her journey through European vocal artistry led her from the Istanbul University State Conservatory to a Master’s degree in Music Theatre from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG) and a Bühnenexamen from the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK). Guided by additional pedagogical studies at Marmara University, Ekin Su developed a structured yet profoundly thoughtful approach to how we experience and perceive art.
As an international soloist, she has performed on renowned stages such as Oper Frankfurt, Theater an der Wien, Opernhaus Zürich, and the Istanbul State Opera. However, the intersection of a demanding international career and the transformative experience of motherhood led her to explore her artistry beyond the physical stage. Integrating mindfulness and embodied awareness, she began to translate her philosophy into tangible forms—designing physical reflection journals and curating a contemplative digital space to connect our inner life with everyday art.
Now based in Frankfurt, Ekin Su weaves together the discipline of the opera stage, the intellectual depth of classical culture, and a refined sensitivity to human presence. Through the tactile editions and the digital sanctuary of The Artful Nest, she invites others into her guiding belief:
